It’s still grilling season! Kabobs are really just stir fry on a stick. They are a great way to get vegetables and protein in, and can be done rather quickly.
Get the wooden disposable kabob sticks, they basically look like a big toothpick. Soak them in water so that they won’t burn on the grill
Good vegetable options: onion, pepper, mushroom, brussels sprouts (already pre steamed), cauliflower, broccoli.
Good protein options: chicken cubes, shrimp, beef cubes, pork cubes, tofu
Optional: you can marinate the kabobs the night before in any dressing you want. Teriyaki, italian dressing, and lemon juice/olive oil are all popular options.
This is a great meal prep dish too, because you can prep the raw sticks and just come home and grill for 10-15 minutes. These go well on a bed of quinoa or rice.
