Wings

I was given this recipe by a man who is 93, has had plenty of good wings, and swears by these! No sauce required, just some spices and a touch of butter. They are very crispy.

 

This is for 3lbs of wings, so adjust accordingly.

1.5 tsp salt (although when I do these again, I will cut this by half)
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp cumin seeds (or just use more ground cumin)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper

 

Mix those spices in a bowl and have them handy. 

Preheat oven to 450. Place wings on a baking pan. I put foil on mine and sprayed a bit of coconut oil to prevent sticking. Melt a few pats of butter, and brush them on the wings, both sides. Cover wings in the spice mix, and bake for 15 minutes. Take out, flip over, and bake another 15 minutes. Inside of wings should be at least 165 degrees.

They would go great with a salad with bleu cheese and an artichoke to snack on.
